Description

NA Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground, (USAYPG), AZ intends to negotiate a contract with Telemetry & Communications Systems (TCS), 20860 Plummer Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311 on an other than full and open competition basis. The requireme nt is to upgrade 1 each, EMP Model 100 Pedestal 6ft Dish Dual Access Tracking Antenna to a TCS Antenna Control Unit M-1 (ACU M-1). The ACU M-1 is manufactured by TCS and all technical data relative to TCS??????s ACU M-1 is proprietary. This is a continui ng effort to upgrade the obsolete EMP 100 Auto tracking system and will allow the ability to interface with current telemetry pedestals to meet the form, fit and function of existing systems. Interested parties may submit technical literature showing thei r capability to meet the Government??????s requirement no later than 1:00 PM mountain standard time on 25 August 2003. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract base d upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22, with the exception that the time pe riod for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 10 days instead of 45 days.
