NA 17. ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED to Roberta Bodine, Contracting Officer, fax 256-955-9220, AMSAM-AC-LS-A, E-mail Roberta. Bodine@redstone.army.mil. NSN: 5307-01-163-4676, P/N: 7-311411045, PRON: A X361165AX, NOUN: Stud, Plain, Quantity 402 each plus 2 years 100% options applicable to the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. F.O.B. Source with delivery to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 402 each 315 days after con tract award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 198 DACA. Required delivery without First Article is 402 each and 210 DACA The approved source (s) is Fenn Manufacturing Company Cage Code: 82001 and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company Cage Code 8V613. The Directorate for Engineering has identified this part as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capabil ity, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Qualifica tion Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
