NA THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT MS SHELIA KAYLOR, NURSE METHODS ANALYST AT 706-787-2019. EMAIL ADDRESS: sheila.kaylor@se.amedd.army.mil. This announcement is a notice that TRICARE Regions 3, 4 & 15 which include all Do D Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Puerto Rico and Cuba are in the process of standardizing electro-cautery supplies as listed in the subject line above. These include: all types of surgical cautery and grounding pads, pencils, and accessories. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPA??????s) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items are eligible to participate in the standardiz ation process. Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must carry a full line of electro-cautery supplies, must provide customer support in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Regions 3, 4 & 15 , must provide clinical support, education programs, and utilization reports, must provide company??????s return policy, must provide company??????s distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Regions 3, 4 & 15, and mu st provide electronic and hard-copy of proposed pricing and competitive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must be latex-free, must be compatible with all major generators, must be available with extra long cords, must be simple and easy to use, requiring minimal training. Bovie pads must be available in universal size, suitable for adults and infants, must have return electrode monitoring capability. Pencils must be available with our without holster, must be available with button or rocker switch. Respondents must address all criteria listed above. Please send your response along with product literature and representative product samples (enough to share with a 10 person Clinical Product Team) of your company??????s electro-cautery supplies to Ms. Sheila Kaylor, RN at the following address: Southeast Regional Medical Command BLDG 40707, 40th Street Ft.
