Description

Sources Sought. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to purchase ten (10) each X16 Multiplier Assemblies for the National Weather Service (NWS) to be placed in stock at the National Logistics Support Center (NLSC) in Kansas City, MO. NSN: 5998-NX-400-0594, ASN: R400-4A1A2A2, Aeroflex part number 110977. Because this item is used as part of the current NEXRAD program, a like or similar item will not be accepted. The Government has no specifications or drawings for the required item. All specifications and drawings are proprietary to Aeroflex, Inc. Any business source capable of providing the Aeroflex part listed is encouraged to respond to this announcement within ten (10) days of its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the item listed herein, and the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other Government agencies to which it has previously provided the item. The information should be submitted to the address stated herein or may be faxed to (816) 426-7530, attn: Jackie Shewmaker. This is not a request for quotation, and no solicitation is available. The Government reserves the right to solicit quotes based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice or issue an order to Aeroflex, Inc., whichever is determined to be more advantageous to the Government without further notice.
