Description: The U. S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to increase the quantities of protective gas masks and associated accessories under contract TSS030041 with Mine Safety Appliances Corporation, P. O. Box 428, Pittsburg, PA 15230 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package or specifications are available for this proprietary system. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. Award is anticipated within two (2) days. See Note 22. Note 22 is modified to read 2 days in lieu of 45 days.
