Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13.5 Test Program Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 4TFG57032192 and is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 15 (07/24/03). This requirement is unrestricted. This requirement is for the contractor to provide parts obsolescence studies and analyses for AN/GRC-239 and other systems. Desired period of performance is from date of award through 08/31/2004 plus one option year, 08/30/2004 through 08/31/2005 to resolve unforeseen obsolescence issues. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation – Commercial Items, award will be made to the offeror who will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commerical Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (a); (b) (1), (3), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (16). All interested offerors shall submit a request for Statement of Work via e-mail to teresa.Carrington@gsa.gov and don.rasnake@gsa.gov . All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals, representations and certifications may be submitted via e-mail to teresa.Carrington@gsa.gov and don.rasnake@gsa.gov.

Address: The contractor will perform the majority of is/her work from the contractor's site. AN/GRC-239 integration will be performed at the 232 CBCS, Montgomery, AL and Santa Rosa Island, FL.
