- This a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE 68113-2107 and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation notice: proposals are NOT being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The Department Of Defense (DOD), United States Air Force, 55th Contracting Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska in support of The United States Strategic Command USSTRATCOM intends to issue solicitation #F6J66331180100 and award a commercial based purchase order on a SOLE SOURCE basis for the purchase of hardware and software maintenance as follows; one (1) Enhancement Pack Support Sun, Solaris, Part #EPXXXETSUNSOS and one (1) MOTIF RT Tech Support SUN Solaris, Part # PMRUNECXXXXXX. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. NAICS code for this acquisition is 541511. SIC is 7371. Market research has revealed only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared and approved in support of this acquisition. Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc., 201 Broadway, 6th Floor, Cambridge, MA 02139, is considered to be sole source for the above-mentioned services and service products; therefore no solicitation will result from this announcement. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement on responses to this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. All price quotations may be submitted to Mr. Eleazar Inungaray, not later than 1600 CST, Sep 04, 2003.
