Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP= ), is soliciting quotations for the purchase of transformer repair service= s (oil reclamation). Contractor shall provide all labor and equipment necessary to perform the following tasks: a) Drain oil; b) Heat unit wi= th hot oil; c) Drain unit again; d) Place on vacuum to dry; e) Bring IFT o= f oil to acceptable level with Fullers earth; f) Hot-oil vacuum fill unit= with reclaimed oil through vacuum degass unit and g) Test unit. SCIP w= ill provide lifting equipment and disposal of filter media. Transformer information: Manufacturer - Magnetek (Original Manufacturer: Pioneer Electric); Serial No. 81732; MVA: 10-13.3; Oil: 2,265 gallons main tank= and 165 gallons LTC; Total Weight: 72,900 pounds. Transformer is located a= t SCIP's Mammoth Substation, Mammoth, Arizona 85618. Mammoth is located = in Pinal County in central Arizona.
