Description

NAWCWD, CHINA LAKE, CA intends to procure on an other than competitive basis with SIMULA Aerospace & Defense Group, Inc Phoenix, AZ for a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N68936-00-G-0103 for Low PROFILE FLOTATION COLLARS. The order shall consist of 383 LPU-37/P collars with C02 cylinders packed. The contractor shall produce the LPU-37/P to the approved drawing 830AS270 with the exception that the color of the material is to be color code 33446 in accordance with FED-STD-595. The color is TAN instead of sage green on the drawing. SEI retains proprietary rights and is the only source capable of producing the LPU-37/P collar. Delivery shall be 18 weeks after the date of order. FOB: Destination Place of delivery will be provided at a later date. The solicitation will be issued on or about 9/2/03 with a response date of 9/9/03 and will be available through the 2.0 Contracts Competency home pages at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. Anticipate award date: 9/25/03. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. Interested parties other than SEI must respond in writing (via mail, email, or fax) demonstrating your experience and capabilities in Low Profile Flotation Collars. SEE NOTE 22 and 26 Applies
