Description

NA A sole source procurement is contemplated with O/I Analytical, Inc. 2148 Palham PWY Building 400, Palham, AL 35124 for the acquisition of a Series 3001 Field MINICAMS including a GC module with a flame-photometric detector (GCF-100A), a single channel elec trometer, a sample pump, compressed-gas regulators, a chassis (with connectors for serial and parallel communications, and a disk drive), a manual, and a small stock of expendable supplies; for sulfur-and phosphorus-containing compounds. Also, a flame ion ization detector will be installed on the MINICAMS as well as a dual electrometer board. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, services, and/or equipment required are available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies, and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This action requires FAR 6.302-1 authority due to the fact that the MINICAMS technology is proprietary. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, all responsi ble sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the Government's requirements. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with sole source negotiation with O/I. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The solicitation DABJ19-03-T-0057, will be available on or about 28 August 2003 at the Army's Single Face to Industry web site (https://acquisition.army. mil) or the U.S. ACA Dugway Proving Ground web site ( https://www.dugway.army.mil/10-3_ContractingDivision.htm). Responses must be submitted not later than 5:00 PM MST, 10 September 2003. In the event the Army Single Face to Industry web site,https://acq uisition.army.mil, is not accessible, responses may be faxed to this number (435)831-2103.
