Description

NA QUESTION: Will there be any advance warning of an impending award as testing is performed on CLIN 0001 gloves? It is highly unlikely a domestic supplier could deliver the maximum 25,000 pairs within 120 days without advance knowledge of award. ANSWER: The solicitation states that the Government may exercise an option to procure a maximum quantity of 25,000 pairs of POL gloves (CLIN 0002) (within funding constraints) to one or two companies based on the evaluation criteria. There is a potential that the 25,000 maximum quantity of the option may be split between two vendors. Also, the solicitation states that the Government reserves the right to issue multiple orders up to the maximum quantity of 25,000 pairs of gloves. This means that the successful offeror(s) would received delivery orders over the life of the contract not to exceed the maximum option quantity set in CLIN 0002.
