Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a sole source contract to Intelliseek, Inc., 1128 Main Street, Fourth Floor, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202-7236. DISA has a requirement to renew the annual license for a central server based metasearch engine/search broker and to increase the number of users from 100 to 3000. The backup for the operational version will be upgraded to a second operational license. The second operational license will also be for 3000 users and will allow for fail-over and load balancing of the traffic to the search broker. The award will include one year of basic maintenance, technical support, and software upgrade support for the two search broker licenses and the Agent Development Kit (ADK). This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue an award under other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2303(c)(1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement not later than 08 September 2003 2:00 EDT. Award is anticipated on or about 08 September 2003. See Note 22.
