- The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award a sole source contract with the manufacturer Mercury Marine utilizing FAR part 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; WRITTEN PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUIRED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION will not be issued. Proposals must include a completed Representations and Certifications FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items should also be submitted with quotation. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this synopsis, which shall be considered. This synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2001-15 and DFARS Change Notice 20030722. The resulting award is intended to be a firm fixed price contract for the following: CLIN 0001 Qty: 16 EACH Mercruiser 8.1S HO Engine, part number 3-308100781. CLIN 0002 Qty: 16 EACH Deposit for returnable container. CLIN 0003 Qty: 4 EACH Core Charge, part number 50787-1 CLIN 0004 Qty: 4 EACH Powerheads, part number 823434T97. Delivery date shall be no later than 30 days ARO. Item is to be deliverd FOB destination to Receiving Officer, Code 7040, Pacific Missile Range Facility, Bldg. 374, Kekaha, HI 96752-0128. The NAICS code and small business size standard for this procurement is 333518 and 1000 employees, respectively. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to be eligible for Department of Defense Contract awards. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote. The Government reserves the right to make an award on any item for a quantity less than the quantity offered, at the unit prices offered, unless the offeror specifies otherwise in the offer.
