Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in thi s notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD05-03-T-0140. Requirement is for Chemical Detector Unit and Suppli es for the Government of Taiwan. CLIN 0001, Detector Unit Chemical, NSN 6665-01-081-8140, 10 EA; CLIN 0002, Detector, Subassembly, Chemical, NSN 5999-01-115-0936, 64 EA; CLIN 0003, Switch, Therostatic, NSN 5930-01-115-1997, 97 EA; CLIN 0004, Wiring Harnes s, Branched, NSN 6150-00-400-5100, 106 EA. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement, FMS Case TW-B-BZU; purchase request BTW0543233Y001. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Origin. Shipping will be arranged by the cognizant DCMA office. The vendor shall supp ly the contracting office with the location from where the material will be shipping. Offerors must provide a delivery schedule with their proposal. Partial shipments are acceptable, however, shipments shall be as consolidated as possible to avoid items being lost in transit. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While price is mo re important than delivery, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with o ffers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisi tion.
