Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for hotel rooms for approximately 36 individual during the period of 18 October 2003 through 18 December 2003 in Kodiak, Alaska. The 18 October 2003 through 18 December 2003 dates are tentative and may change so the contractor must be flexible to meet this need. All rooms must be at one location due to sharing of rides and single occupancy. Nightly rates cannot exceed the Joint Travel Regulation rate of $90.00 per night. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 dated 24 Jul 03. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. There is one line item, CLIN 0001 for approximately 3 6 rooms for the anticipated period of 18 October 2003 through 18 December 2003. Inspection and acceptance shall be on site at the hotel. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. If you do not accept VISA, you must be registered in the Central Contrac tor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). Award will be made based on best value to the Government based on the following criteria. 1) Past Performance is most important 2) Cancellation Policy is the next most important criteria 3) Convenience to Kodiak, Al aska is next in importance, and 4) lodging rate being least important but the rate may not exceed $90.00 per night. You shall submit the contract number, agency name, point of contact, and phone number of at least two previous contracts, preferably contra cts with the Federal Government; your cancellation policy; commercially available literature on your hotel or a web site where it may be viewed; and your nightly rate. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 (52.203-6 Alt I, 52.219-14, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232.33, 52.232-36).
