- Description
- Scope of work consist of, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, supervision, tools and equipment necessary for general repairs and alterations to Government-owned and leased facilities at various locations in the State of North Carolina. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Term Construction Contract for construction projects ranging from $2,000.00 to $100,000.00 per task order. The contract will be divided into three (3) or more geographical areas. A maximum of four (4) contracts will be awarded for each area and offerors can bid on one (1) area or all areas. This solicitation will be procured in accordance with FAR 15.1, Source Selection Procedures, using the "Best Value Concept" in making the selections. Offerors should submit proposals that are acceptable without explanation of information as the Government may make a final determination regarding a proposal's acceptablity solely on the basis of initial proposal submitted. SMALL, SMALL WOMAN-OWNED, SMALL DISADVANTAGED, HUBZONE, 8 (a), VETERAN-OWNED, AND SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS are encouraged to submit proposals. NO PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $27.5 million. NO PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM ANY CONTRACTOR WHO WAS AWARDED A CONTRACT UNDER THE LARGE IDIQ TERM CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) building information. For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requester must complete and sign the attached Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors. In addition, the following information must be submitted and provided by the requester via the spaces in the Notice; 1. Copy of business license, 2. Company's Dun and Bradstreet Number, 3. Valid Tax Identification Number, 4. A valid picture state driver's license (for person(s) picking up SBU documents in person). The Notice shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. No e-mail copies of the Notice will be accepted; however facsimile copies will be accepted. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is September 24, 2003.
