Description

The following generator shall be installed at USDA, Agricultural Research Service, U.S. Salinity Lab, 450 West Big Springs Road, Riverside, CA 92507: One (1) 150DGFA Generator Set, Diesel, 60Hz, 150kW with 336 gallon fuel tank. Duty Rating-Standby Power. OTPC800 Transfer Switch, Power Command, 800 Amp; 3-poles; single phase, 240 vac. Cabinet Type 1. Application: Utility to Genset automatic transfer switch. The installation specifications are below: Generator and switch are Government-owned and are on-site. Assembly of generator to base-mounted fuel tank, concrete pad for generator, trenching, backfill, underground conduit, wire, all connections of generator, transfer switch, start up, testing of system, all labor and material for a complete and operable system is included. Fuel and batteries are not included. No additional parts or labor necessary for proper operation of this generator is included in this project. Install electrical system for new, Government-owned generator. Run new 600 amp feeder to make all connections and test. Includes: Installation of automatic transfer switch adjacent to existing switch gear on exterior of building. Install two (2) new 4” conduits with (4) 400 mcm wire from ATS to generator. Connection of both generator and ATS. Testing of generator and ATS. Crane rental. Concrete slab on grade.
