Description

Title: High Speed Internet Access Client: 45 SCS/SCBA for Base Lodging This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition. The Government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Protel Services Inc. Protel Services Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government’s requirement for High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) with ISP support, Website support and helpdesk support. The current system was designed and installed by Protel. The existing cable plant is controlled and maintained by Protel under a competed Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) contract. The proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-03-T-0288 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 4813, business size of 1500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 514191. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will not be issued electronically. Interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation.
