- Description
- Scope of work consists of, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, supervision, equipment and tools necessay for general repairs and alterations at the Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, 517 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity construction contract. Individual delivery orders will be placed utilizing pre-priced line items as stated in the solicitation. The approximate quantity of construction services anticipated to be performed under this contract is $100,000.00 per year. The contract will be for two years, with the option of extending the contract for three, one-year periods. The requirement is being solicited through full and open competition. Woman-owned, Hubzone, Veteran-owned and Small Disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit an offer. Best value method will be used to determine the awardee. The Government may make multiple awards under the subject solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $28.5 million. Proposals will be opened privately; therefore, the number of proposals received, the identity of the offerors and the amount of any offer or relative standing of any offer will not be disclosed. Request for Proposals will be available on or about September 25, 2003. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) building information. For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requester must complete and sign the attached Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors. In addition, the following information must be submitted and/or provided by the requester via the spaces provided in the notice: 1)Copy of business license; 2)Company's Dun and Bradstreet number; 3)Valid Tax Identification Number; 4)A valid picture state driver's license (for person(s) picking up SBU documents). The notice shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. No e-mail copies will be accepted; however, facsimiles will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and a copy of the solicitation will be released in compact disc form to the requester.
