- NA PROJECT TITLE: (THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENTS INTENT TO AWARD TO ONE SOURCE & NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE. Do Not Register On The Plan Holders List)LOCATION: NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER, FORT IRWIN, CA (FTIR) JOB DESCRIPTION: SOURCES SOUGHT/NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT WITH ONE SOURCE. A/E shall obtain and review all groundwater monitoring data collected after the preparation of the Water Quality Monitoring Plan (Montgomery Watson 2001) data collected since the first quarter of 2000. A/E shall review hydrogeologic conditions to expand t he existing groundwater database, and include the data in an updated WQMP; perform statistical evaluation to develop updated WQPS; evaluate Monitoring Program Report and attend meetings. The sole source A-E is MWH Americas, Inc, 777 Campus Commons, Suite 250, Sacramento, CA 95825-6703. This is a follow-on effort to work previously performed by MWH. As a result of its previous effort, MWH staff is familiar with the Fort Irwin data, and uniquely qualified to continue with the follow-on effort. MWH prepare d a draft Water Quality Monitoring Plan (WQMP) under contract DACW05-98-D-0033. The contract is no longer available for the follow-on work. MWH has a thorough, firsthand knowledge of the requirement and utilization of MWH will increase the level of effic iency and decrease potential costs to the government. Duplication of costs for project development and program management is not in the best interest of the government. Continuing use of MWH is the most cost effective way to continue operations at this s ite. All interested parties may respond or submit statements of qualifications. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. The Government will consider responses received within 10 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is within the discretion of the Government. All responses are due in not later than (date/time) 18 September 2003/3:00P.M. PDT. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE:C21 9, SIC CODE:8711, NAICS Code: 541330. The size standard for this code is $4,000,000.00.
