Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Connecticut intends to negotiate a sole source contract with L-3 Avionics Systems, Inc., for the procurement of five each, WX 1000+, AN/AMS-2, W eather Mapping Systems. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded to L-3 Avionics Systems, Inc., under the “Other than Full and Open Competition” procedures, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 and FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source. All qualified sources must submit a written quote in response to this notice, not later than 2 PM EST, September 12, 2003. Delivery will be to USPFO-MA Warehouse, 50 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757-3604. Failure to include detailed specification s with your quote will render your offer non-responsive, this office will not contact you for that information. Oral communication is not acceptable in response to this solicitation. Offers must be submitted to the USPFO for Connecticut, Purchasing and C ontracting Division, ATTN: Michael Mastalski, 360 Broad Street Hartford, Connecticut 06105-3779 or via fax (860) 524-4874 or e-mail Michael.mastalski@ct.ngb.army.mil, Not Later Than 2:00 PM EST, September 12, 2003.
