Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number F675LG30590100 on quotes submitted. Clauses referenced in accordance with the FAR are FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. Quotes are due NLT 12:00 p.m., Monday, 15 SEP 2003. Quotes must be sent to 301st Operational Contracting, 1710 Burke Ave., NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX 76127. FAX quotes will be accepted at 817-782-5371. Items are for delivery to FALCON RANGE, Fort Sill, OK 73527. Delivery will be FOB Destination. Potential awardees must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry before award can be made. We have a requirement for (1) Model 903-A1 AWOS III, type certified under FAA AC 150/5220-16B, or equal, to include: Sensors & Accessories – (1) one each 30 foot tower; (1) one each Micro response wind direction sensor; (1) one each Micro response wind speed sensor; (1) one each Air temperature & relative humidity sensor; (1) one each Motor aspirated radiation sensor; (1) one each Dual barometric pressure sensor; (1) one each Visibility sensor; (1) one each Day/Night sensor; (1) one each Cloud Height sensor; (1) one each Thunderstorm sensor; (1) one each Present weather sensor; and – Data Processing – (1) one each Data collection platform (DCP); (2) two each UHF Radio Kit; (1) one each Central data processor (CDP); and - Voice Communications – (1) one each VHF Radio with antenna; Installation & On-Site Training, if required.
