Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Amendment 0001 thru 0003 is incorporated into this solicitation. This Solicitation number is DABK33-03-T-0077 and is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). This procurement is Unrestricted an d will be awarded on a full and open basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 31211 and the small Business Standard is 500 Employees. DESCRIPTION: The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Sam Houston, U.S. Contracting Agency Southern Region, ATTN: SFCA-SR-SH, Building 4197 2107 17th Street, Suite 15 Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-5015, Contracting Branch, intends to procure soft drink beverage and dispensers. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver beverage bases (syrup) i n five (5) or 2.5 gallon bag-in-box containter and carbon dioxide gas, and install and maintain sixteen (16) dispensing systems at various dining facilities at Fort Sam Houston, TX, and Camp Bullis, TX for Troop Issue Subsistence Activity, Fort Sam Houston , TX. Beverage flavors required are: Lemon-Lime:Sprite or Equal 2,500 gallon, Orange Minute Maid or Equal 1,200 gallon, Mr Pibb or Equal 500 gallon, Root Beer Barq or Equal 500, Strawberry Fanta or Equal 900 gallon, Diet Coke or Equal 1,000 gallon, Di et Sprite or Equal 300 gallon, Diet Dr Pepper or Equal 40 gallon, Nesta or Equal 300 gallon, Mello Yellow/Surge or Equal 100 gallon, Coke Cola Classic or Equal 4,500 gallon. All quantities are estimated. Dispensing system must be counter electric or ice combo type units equipped with water button selection and capable of dispensing multiple (8) beverage flavors, to include water, and ice. Contract period shall be base period plus two additional option years. Basic contract period is from October 1 , 2003 through September 30, 2004. Award is to utilize Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, without addenda, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a com plete copy of the provision at FAR 52.232-3, Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items with offer. The provisions at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, with addenda, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditio ns with addenda, apply to this acquisition (including 52.222-35; 52-222-36; 52-222-37; 52.222-41; 52.222-42; 52.222-47; 52.217-8 and 52.217-9. Proposal may be provided on company letterhead stationery and shall provide this office the following informatio n: Request for Quotation Number, company name, address, telephone number, fax number, cage code, Duns number, tax identification number, point of contact, and correct mailing and remittance address.
