- NA The Southern Region Contracting Center, Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure on a sole-source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 from Cascade International Technology, Inc 23907 141st Drive SE Snohomish, WA 98296, Service and Maintenance suppor t on the RapidReach Emergency Notification System. Cascade is the only known company that is qualified to maintain and repair this system. This notice is not a request for quotations. However, any firm believing it capable of meeting requirements may submi t technical documentation to establish the firm??????s capability to provide services. Such documents must be submitted to the POC within 3 days of electronic posting of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon respon ses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date will be prior to September 30, 2003. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract. All interested parties shall e-mail Mrs. Bonnie Westbrook at bonnie. westbrook@us.army.mil and indicate their interest and capability to provide services. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Businesses may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calli ng 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT info rmation contained in the CCR database.
