Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, PN Region, has a requirement for the acquisition of ramp flumes. Reclamation intends to award a sole source purchase order to Nu-Way Flume & Equipment Co., 161 Elkhorn Road, Raymond, WA 98577-9255, telephone (360) 942-3581. Nu-Way Flume & Equipment Co. holds the exclusive rights and patent to manufacture and sell the adjustable ramp flume. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR 12.6, as supplemented in accordance with the format included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued as 03SQ108200; and proposals are due COB September 15, 2003. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2001-15. This is not a small business set aside. The NAICS code is 332313, the small business standard is 500 employees. REQUIREMENT: CLIN 0001: 20 each adjust-a-flume, 2 cfs; CLIN 0002: 35 each adjust-a-flume, 4 cfs; CLIN 0003: 35 each adjust-a-flume, 6 cfs; CLIN 0004: 2 each EZ flow ramp flume, size 10, CLIN 0005: 2 each EZ flow ramp flume, size 20. Delivery address is Bureau of Reclamation, Attn: Property, 1150 N. Curtis Rd., Ste. 100, Boise, ID 83706-1234. The following FAR provisions and contract clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, amended as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: a) ability of offered item to meet Government requirement; b) delivery date, two months from date of award; c) price.
