Description

The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source procurement to SBC Federal Solutions Group, 1010 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90017. SBC of California is the sole source of PSN access transport facilities in the geographical region in which CG CAMPSPAC is located in West Marine County, CA. Vendor must engineer, furnish, install and test an OC-12 fiber Network Transport Facility between the SBC Central Office in Inverness, CA and the Coast Guard Communications master station at 17,000 Sir Frances Drake, Blvd, Pt Reyes Station, CA. The Coast Guard has determined that competition is not available. If no reasonable responses are received within (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with SBC Federal Solutions Group. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in applicable purchase order clauses contained in the award. This solicitation is Unrestricted. The NAICS Code 517110, the size standard is 1500 employees. The contract type will be firm fixed price. Negotiations with SBC Federal Solutions Group will be on/about 25 September 2003.
