Description

This is an announcement of intent to issue a SOLE SOURCE award for software maintenance. The Department of Justice, subject to availability of funds, intends to issue an award a purchase order on a sole source basis to IManage Corporation of Foster City, CA, who owns the proprietary rights on their products, for software maintenance using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, for commercial items under FAR Subparts 12.6. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. There is no solicitation document available. Responses will not be considered as quotations. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated a fixed price purchase order shall be issued for this requirement on October 1, 2003.
