Description
The FAA Eastern Region has a requirement for construction services Elecrical Engine Generator system and associated equipment at the Buffalo International Airport, ATCT Base BLDG., Buffalo, NY.Work is to include but not limited to installation of a new engine generator and (1) Provide temporary engine generator, including a fuel tank sufficient for 72 hours run time at full load and as ATS/BPS. which the existing E/G is being replaced. (2) Provide all temporary services required for construction (3) Provide physical placement and securing in place GFE electrical equipment. (4) Special ancillary equipment not included with the product but required for installation will be provided by the Contractor.(5) Complete installation of the GFE equipment in accordance with the contract document and manufactirer's recommendation (6)Clean up and site to its condition after the work has been performed. And (7) Demolition and sitework according to specifications. The estimated cost is between $165,000.00 and $175,000.00. The NAICS code is 238210. The following known companies are being provided a copy of the Screening Information Request (SIR). 1. Blakmon & Farrel Inc., Rochester, NY., 2.O'Connell Electric Inc., Victor, NY, 3.Rand and Jones Enterprises, Buffalo, NY. 4.Cooper Construction, Inc. Austin, TX., and 5. CNS Communications, Peoria, AZ. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or "best buy" offer. All will be evaluated on Past Performance, Financial Capability and Price. Due to the short turnaround on this project, estimated to begin by October 15, 2003, the FAA will accept an additional five requests for this SIR. The first five companies, other than those listed above, who respond to this announcem,ent by 4:30 P.M. September 30, 2003, will be provided the SIR. Interested companies should request a copy of the SIR via facsimile at 718-995-5685, Attn. Mr. Agapito C. Dadiz. Request will be controlled by date and time stamped on the facsimile request. After the limits is reached, no other request will be accepted. No telephone request will be accepted on this SIR. Contractors have the responsibility to verify the receipt of the request.
