- NSN: 2915-01-310-2888PR P/N: 1534M60P03 Noun: Temperature Sensor, Fan Temp Item Description: The sensor is a temperature sensor and transducer unit for the main engine control of GE aircraft engine p/n 1534M60P03. It responds to changes in fan discharge temperature and regulates pressure as a function of discharge temperatures. Dimensions: Apprx 7.250 inches long X 3.5 inches wide with various shapes angle and radii. Material: Aluminum alloy. Destination: Ship to and mark for: FB2039 ACCT09 Delivery: November 2004 Estimated Qty: 9 Qualification Requirements: Due to complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufactures that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 25 September 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 27 October 2003. The anticipated award date will be 28 November 2003. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation.
