- Description
- This project consist of contractor to remove and dispose of the 20 ton d/x condensing unit, air handler and discarded piping on Pope Air Force Base, NC. Furnish all labor material and equipment to Install one thirty ton TRANE chiller 208/230 volt 3ph Model CGAF30E, 40 to 50 degrees set point, Microprocessor control, unit mounted terminal control, spring isolator kit, low ambient control, and five year replacement warranty. One TRANE multi-zone air handler with chill and hot water coils, to interface with future direct digital controls, size and install duct where needed. Replace all supply and return grills for the main building. The air handler will be installed on the same concrete pad as the old system. The condensing unit will sit in the same space as the old unit. Contractor furnishes and installs all wiring, starters, breakers and disconnects necessary to provide electrical power from the existing power source to operate the new unit. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220 and the size standard of $12 million. The performance period is 60 days. The site visit is scheduled for 17 Sep 03, 9:30am. This is a 100 percent set aside for total small business concerns. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. Release of the solicitation will be via the Internet only. Interested parties may download the solicitation from http://www.eps.gov where it will be posted on or about 17 Sep 03. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation.
