Description

Aerobics Instructor. Andrews Air Force Base is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) Service Contract for Aerobics Instruction held at Fort George G. Meade, MD (Fitness Center, facilities). Contractor shall have a current certification as an aerobics instructor or group exercise leader from a nationally recognized certification body ie. ACSM, ACE, AFAA, IDEA, NDEITA, CAR, FIRM, ISSA, or Jazzersize. Contractor must have current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid certification. One-year experience in instructing aerobics is highly desirable. Contractor shall submit a resume of qualifications with solicitation. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The contractor is expected to provide all management, supervision, labor personnel and any other items necessary to provide aerobics instructions. The applicable North American Industrial System (NIACS) code is 713940. The period of performance will be for one year. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. In accordance with FAR Clause 5.207(a)(2)(xv), all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government?s ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
