Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is FA4417-03-QS775 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The associated NAICS code is 2341110 with $28,500,000.00 dollars. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, and transportation to and from job site until task completion. The work to be performed includes, but not necessarily limited to the following features: multiple deliveries of S1/S11, 3/8 to 5/8 of an inch rock open grade asphalt to equal 560 tons. The materials shall be delivered to Hurlburt Field, FL approximately 30 miles east of Pensacola, Florida and 80 miles west of Panama City, Florida. Transportation costs must be included in pricing. The contractor must be able to maintain the proper temperature for application. The contractor shall coordinate deliveries with the point of contact that will be designated at a later time. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Price shall be the primary factor used to evaluate offers.
