Description
REVISION: Based on the Sources Sought responses submitted on 5 September 2003, the Government has made a determination that this procurement will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Therefore, registration requests will be prioritized according to business size standard, with small business concerns given first priority. Large businesses that are interested in teaming with small business concerns to satisfy this requirement are requested to please indicate such in their registration request. No other changes to the Site Visit Notice have been made. The Site Visit remains scheduled for 24 September 2003. ORIGINAL NOTICE FOLLOWS: As referenced in the Sources Sought Notice issued on 27 August 2003 for academic and simulator training on the TC-12B aircraft, NAVAIR Orlando and the Chief of Naval Aviation Training (CNATRA) will host a Site Visit on 24 September 2003. The Site Visit will be held in Building 1824 at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas from 1300-1600 Central Standard Time (CST). The purpose of this site visit is to familiarize potential offerors with the Government-furnished property the contractor will be required to utilize under the anticipated contract. Formal responses to any questions or comments generated during the site visit will be posted on the NAVAIR Orlando Business Opportunities website at http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/Acquisitions/Index.cfm?client=NAWCTSD. Attendance will be limited to three (3) representatives per firm. The Government reserves the right to reduce the number of representatives per firm should capacity constraints become an issue. Pre-registration of attendees will expedite your admittance to the Government facility. Interested parties shall submit the firm's name, representatives? names, representatives? citizenship, address, zip code, phone number with area code, and e-mail address to roxy.campos@navy.mil and scott.syring@navy.mil no later than 19 September 2003. Registration will be confirmed by e-mail on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis. PLEASE NOTE: NAS CORPUS CHRISTI IS A SECURE FACILITY AND WALK-INS WILL NOT BE ACCOMMODATED. Directions and a map to NAS Corpus Christi will be provided via email following pre-registration. Other general visitor information may be requested at the time of pre-registration in order to process the necessary paperwork prior to arrival.
