Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (BCBP), U.S. Border Patrol Air and Marine Operations Center, El Paso, Texas is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation EFO-3-Q-0056 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm's DUNS number. The North American Industry Classification System code is 336112. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. A single award will be made. The requirement is for CLIN 0001: 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD Extended Cab, Short Box 4WD WT truck, Summit white exterior, Neutral cloth interior, Vortec 6000 V8 SFI engine with 300 horsepower, five-speed manual transmission, Insta-Trac manual 4WD transfer case, four-wheel antilock disc brakes. Options and packages: Air cleaner, high-capacity (K47); Air conditioning, dual zone, manual, individual climate settings for driver and right front passenger (CJ3); Covers, radiator grille and front bumper opening, for diesel engines in winter weather (V10); Cruise control electronic with set and resume speed, includes telltale in instrument panel cluster (k34); Emissions, Federal requirements (FE(); Engine, Duramax 660 Turbo Diesel V8 (300HP 223.8 Kw, @3100 rpm 520 lb-ft (702.0 N-m) @ 1800 rpm (LB7); Floor covering, color[keyed carpeting and rubberized vinyl floormats with Extended Cab, includes rear floor mats (B30); Fog lamps, front halogen (T96); GVWR 9200 lbs (4173 kg) (C6W); Glass, Solar-Ray deep tinted, (all windows except light tinted glass on windshield, driver and front passengers) (AJ1); Grille, chrome surround (V22); HD POWER PKG DISCOUNT (1SZ); Regular production accessory, assist steps, chrome plated tubular, stainless steel. Designed to match the chrome vehicle trim accents. These steps are dealer installed and shipped separately from the vehicle parts to parts department with VIN identification on packaging (SPO supplied, dealer installed) (BE); Skid Plate Package, includes aluminum front underbody shield starting behind front bumper and running to 1st cross-member, protecting front underbody, oil pan, differential case and transfer case, frame-mounted shields (NZZ); Sound system, delete the base sound system and provide a stowage compartment and a driver alert chime-tone module retains the antenna and base speaker system (9R3); Suspension Package, handling/trailering, heavy duty (Z85); Tires LT245/75R16E all-season, blackwall (QiZ); and Transmission, 6-speed manual, heavy-duty, with overdrive (ML6). 1 each $ _____________. The items must be new. Delivery is to be FOB destination to DHS/BCBP U.S. Border Patrol Air and Marine Operations Center, 9C Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX 79906. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and the following FAR 12.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the technically acceptable, lowest priced quotation from a responsible Offeror as defined in Far Part 9, who also has a satisfactory record of past performance as described in FAR subpart 42.15. FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
