Description

Bechtel Nevada is looking to evaluate Multifunctional Printing Devices (MFPD). BN would like to request information on the MFPD that would meet the minimum requirements in these areas: Network / Hardware Capabilities, Input Requirements, Output Requirements, and Duty Cycle. The MFPD is required to contain 512MB of RAM, a 56 kbps modem, and an additional 8 MB (equivalent to approximately 650 pages) of memory for sending and receiving fax data. The network components of this system must include Novell?s iPrint Service compatibility on a TCP/IP network. The MFPD should be able to scan in approximately 100 pages, single or double sided, from a document feeder. For volume purposes the MFPD must included a minimum of four paper trays holding a minimum of 500 pages each. Between these trays, all paper sizes from A3 to Ledger (i.e. 8.5? x 11?, 8.5? x 11?, 11? x 17?, etc.) must be supported. The printer must be able to output a minimum of 40 pages per minute (PPM) black and white and 30 PPM color, along with being able to collate by trays, duplex (1:2; 2:2; 2:1), staple and hole punch documents. The toner life for this product is required to be at least 40,000 pages, where as the drum life must be at least 400,000 pages. Interested parties should submit the following: (1) Cut sheets, data, etc., indicating your ability to meet the requirements; (2) A short business resume; and (3) References for past business dealings providing similar equipment.
