- Description
- The Bronx VAMC intends to negotiate a sole source contract with JML Service Inc., for the prevnetative maintenance and repair of the MRI Filtrine One Pass Chiller equipment. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as performance by any other vendor than the one specified will void the OEM warranty. To the best of our knowledge JML Service Inc. is therefore the sole provider of such service to the MRI Equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with our requirements. Information can be faxed to the Contracting Officer at (718) 741-4704. Responses will be evaluated however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Bronx VA Medical Center will proceed with the sole source negotiation with JML Service, Inc.
