Required digital camera system consists of two monochrome digital cameras integrated with a digital video recording workstation. The imbedded workstation shall be capable of controlling camera functions such as setting frame rate (up to a minimum of 1000 Hz), setting pixel format from 64 X 64 up to 1024 X 1204, setting camera detector array integration time (exposure time) from 1 us to 0.4s in steps of no greater than 30 ns, and selecting linear, logarithmic, or combined linear-logarithmic modes, and when in the combined linear-logarithmic mode, setting the linear-logarithmic transition point. Workstation shall be capable of recording in real time, synchronous frame digital image data from both camer as at 1000 frames per second with each camera set at 380 X 380 pixel format (146 Megabites/second per camera). Camera to camera reaming shall be synchronized to within one line of video. The workstation shall record digital image data from both cameras for minimum of five (5) sequential, thirty (30) second intervals for a total duration of 150 seconds of continuous recording time. The workstation shall have an operation system to support follow on image analysis. The operation system shall be compatible with the video recording function, and allow the loading and operation of Microsoft compatible software for data analysis. The workstation chassis should be configured to mount in a standard 19 inch rack. Each camera shall accept remote setting of the detector array active area from 64 X 64 pixels up to 1024 X 1024 pixels. Each camera shall accept remote frame clocking/ triggering up to 1000 Hz, and accept remote setting of the detector array integration time. Each camera shall accept remote selection of linear, logarithmic, or linear-logarithmic response modes. Each camera shall accept remote setting of the linear-logarithmic transition point when in the linear-logarithmic mode. Each camera shall not exceed 2.25 inches X 2.25 inches X 2.25 inches in size, and shall use a standard C-mount for lens mounting. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination.
