Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for two (2) Casualty Management Shelters complete with two (2) Hazmat Reponse Shelters, two (2) Flash Heater systems, two (2) Maintenance Kits, eight (8) Sprayers, two (2) water hoses, two (2) water hose, two (2) immersible waste pumps, four (4) light fixtures, and sixteen (16) elevation girds. This is a sole-source procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The items are sole-sourced to TVI Corporation, Glen Dale, Maryland 20769 because of the requirement for the items to be compatible with existing casualty management shelters per Patent #5,943,837. FOB DESTINATION. Desired delivery is 60 days after date of contract. Delivery is to Bremerton, WA 98314. The procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition will be utilized. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 15 September 2003, with offers due on or about 22 September 2003.
