- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure two hundred (200) Blank Offset Plates used for the production of NexGen currency from BASF Corporation. BASF Corp is the manufacturer of the plate processing equipment in which these Offset Plates are processed. This procurement action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Parts 6.302 and 13.106-1. The resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The procedures in FAR Part 13.106-3 shall be used.
