Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Geodetic Survey, Corbin, Virginia has a requirement for one (1) each, POS LV 420 V3, Position and Orientation System for Land Vehicle Applications and one (1) each POS LV 420 Post-Processing Software as manufactured by Applanix Corp., Richmond Hill, ON, Canada (OR EQUAL). Delivery to be F.O. B. Destination to the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, National Geodetic Survey, IMB, 15351 Office Drive, Corbin, VA 22446-0190. The Required Delivery Date is 30 days after receipt of order. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcements constitutes the ONLY solicitation. OFFERS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotations should be submitted by September 25, 2003 to the U.S. Dept. Of Commerce/NOAA/Eastern Admin Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, 200 Granby Street, Room 815, Norfolk, VA 23510, ATTN: Linda Jacobs. Quotations may be faxed to: (757) 441-3735. Reference Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number EA133C-03-RQ-0226 on your quotation. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition, there are no addenda to the provision. Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be submitted with your offer. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms & Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. If offering an equal product, provide sufficient technical/descriptive literature for technical evaluation. All responsible sources may submit a offer which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive offeror who can meet the specific requirements contained in the CBD announcement and is most advantageous to the government considering price and other price related factors. Award will be made on September 26, 2003.
