Description

NA This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, Item Description: 2 ea, Mower, Lawn, Self-Propelled. Engine, diesel, liquid cooled w/min 26HP with glow plugs. Must include a heavy-duty air cleaner. Fuel tank with a min 6.5 gallon capacity. Mower equipped with rollover protection (ROP). Mower equipped with 4 wheels (2 drive and 2 steering). Controls include a hand operated throttle, PTO hydraulic lift/lower of implement, tilt steering and foot operated traction pedal. Electrical components shall consist of a 12 volt automotive type electrical system w/min 40 AMP alternator, cold cranking battery, dash mounted ignition switch, PTO and seat, parking brake and traction interlocking switches. Traction Drive shall be hydrostatic transmission, which incorporates transmission, and hydraulic flow for power and implement lift. Steering will be hydraulic power. Gauges will include fuel, engine coolant temp and hour met er. Indicator lights for high engine coolant temperature, low engine oil pressure, alternator, low engine coolant level, glow plugs and shutdown override switch. Unit shall be equipped with best seat available for model purchased. Cutting unit shall have m ulching capabilities (no discharge), deck covers should be quick release (no tools required), PTO driven, a cutting radius of min 72 in max 76 in, and a min of 3 cutting blades w/anti-scalp features. Model: Toro Groundsmaster 328-D or equal. Items are req uired within 30 days ARO, and FOB destination is preferred for delivery to CE, 100 Independence Drive, Camp Douglas, WI 54618-5001. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F9CEHB32250100. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13.
