You may FAX or mail your request ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-C, Karen Balch, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-955-7725. NO TELEPHONE REQ UEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX3C0433AX, NSN: 1560-01-336-1400, PN: 414S2640-1, Quantity: 10 each plus two 100% options applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, delivery to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery is 10 each, 300 Days After Contract Award. This i tem is restricted to Boeing Helicopter, Cage Code: 77272 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capabililty, engineering skills, and manuf acturing knowledge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the approved source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. F irms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessisng the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the sol icitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
