Description

NA CONTACT Mr. Greg Wesley, (732) 532-0522. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for parts for the Army Space Heater (ASH) and Bare Base Heater, 120,000 BTU/h. The ASH and Bare Base Heater provide heated air to maintenance tents, Deployable M edical Systems, and Force Provider Modules. The required items are as follows: 5950-01-397-7319, Power Transformer for ASH, Part Number 60444-100; NSN 6685-01-398-7371, Control Temperature for ASH, Part Number 60404-1; NSN 6105-01-398-7369, Motor, Altern ating for ASH, Part Number 60408-1; NSN 6685-01-333-8496, Control Temperature for Bare Base Heater, Part Number 8720694-1; The current source for these parts is ESSI, 201 Evans Lane, St. Louis, MO, Cage 90598. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-EC (Wesley), Bldg 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023 or via e-mail to greg ory.wesley@us.army.mil. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Ar my with an item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the item from the current supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the A rmy. The deadline for response is 30 SEP 2003.
