Description

Dockside repairs NOAA Ship Albatross to be performed at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543. Performance period to commence on or about November 17, 2003, 11:00 a.m., and shall be completed on or before December 26,2003 (40 calendar days). Basic contract items include Hurricane Deck Handrail Replacement, Fire Pump Overhaul, Anchor Windlass Overhaul, Air Tank Hydrostatic Pressure Tests, Steering System Overhaul, Air Compressor Replacement, Stern Roller Bearing Replacement, Port Evaporator Spill Tray Replacement and Crews Mess Bulkhead Replacement. NOAA Ship Albatross will be available for inspection on October 10, 2003 at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Arrangements for the inspection may be made by contacting the COTR at (508) 495-2347. Characteristics of NOAA Ship Albatross: Length Overall - 187 feet, Beam (Molded) - 33 feet, Propulsion - Single Screw, CPP, CAT D379 Diesels, Electrical System - 2 CAT SSDG's 215 KW 440VAC, 3 Phase, Crew Size -3. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will only be available via this website. All interested small businesses shall download the solicitation and specifications after 9/18/03.
