Description

Dockside repairs NOAA Ship Delaware to be performed at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543. Performance period to commence on or about November 10, 2003, and shall be completed on or before December 19,2003 (40 calendar days). Basic contract items include Main Shaft Mechanical Seal Replacement, Mess Deck Arrangement Modifications, Meter Calibration and Switchboard Cleaning, Crane Overhaul and Load Test, Rope Scuttle Replacement and Anchor Windlass Shaft Seal Replacement. NOAA Ship Delaware will be available for inspection on October 10, 2003, 9:00 a.m., at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Arrangements for the inspection may be made by contacting the COTR at (508) 495-2347. Characteristics of NOAA Ship Delaware: Length Overall - 155 feet, Beam (Molded) - 30 feet, Displacement - 931 tons, Crew Size -15, Cruising Speed - 10 knots. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will only be available via this website. All interested small businesses shall download the solicitation and specifications after 9/18/03.
