Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information attached to this notice. The Social Security Administration has a requirement for the purchase of APC server management systems (see attached SF-18 for detailed line items). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested at this time. A written solicitation will not be issued. The requirements, applicable terms and conditions, representations and certifications to be completed by the offeror are contained in the RFQ (SSA-RFQ-03-0816) which is being issued concurrently with this announcement (See the document that is attached to this notice). The small business size standard is 100 employees. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423430. The terms and conditions include the following FAR clauses and provisions: 52.212-3; 52.212-4; and 52.212-5. All responses to this combined synopsis/solicitation are due no later than 2 p.m., Friday, 19 September 2003.
