Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about September 25, 2003. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. This is a small business set-aside, commercial items service contract. The NAICS Code is 238290, and the size standard is $12 million. This contract is one base year, with two option years. The solicitation is Q4810040603. The NPS at Steamtown National Historic Site has five Dover Hydraulic passenger elevators and one power lift. The contractor shall furnish all material, labor, supervision, tools & equipment necessary to provide full maintenance service and repairs including adjustments, tests and replacement of parts as specified in the Scope of Work. The contractor shall also note violations to other applicable codes, such as the National Electric Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, and other codes found in violation in all areas involving this equipment. Qualification of Offerors: The contractor shall have satisfactorily maintained equipment of the same manufacture & grade for a period of at least 5 years. Periodic and routine inspections will be performed by an independent third party contractor. Contract award will be based on best value to the Government. Option year pricing will be included in the evaluation of offers.
