Description

Under authority of U.S.C. 253?(1), FAR 6.302-1, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland intends to procure from BD Biosciences Immunocytomertry, 22967 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673, a FACS Aria Flow Cytometer, with computer, monitor and printer. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334516, and the business size is 500 employees. This system shall include, but not be limited to, and meet or exceed the following performance characteristics, features, and pertain to the following components: (1) must have high throughput sorting 70000 events/sec ; (2) two laser systems, 488nm and 633 nm and ten photomultipliers to achieve 9 color detection; (3) base unit must be upgradeable to incorporate a 407 nm UV laser; (4) small foot print; (5) sterile cell sorting capability for 4 populations simultaneously; (6) must be upgradeable to 96 or 384 well deposition with integrated software; (7) fixed alignment for lasers and automatic drop delay for rapid sorting (high priority). Concerns that respond to this synopsis shall furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above and are invited to submit capability statements in an ORIGINAL PLUS TWO (2) no later than fifteen (15) business days from the date of this announcement. Written responses shall include complete description of the equipment to be provided, containing sufficient technical information to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the stated requirements as listed above.
