Description

NA DESC: 4720-01-192-4036, Part Number 12321506. The item to procure is a Hose Assembly, Nonmetallic. Hose or tubing spec/std data: MIL-H-25579 CL 1 specification. Inner conveying tube material: plastic, polytetrafluoroethylene. Inside surface conditions: Smooth. Exterior Color: Blue. Cross-sectional shape style: 1 round. Outside diameter: 1.000 inches nominal. Measuring method and length: 18.390 inches nominal overall. Minimum inside bending radius: not rated. First end connection type: threaded ex ternal tube. Requirements are 320 each, Hose Assembly NonMet. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the M1A1 Abrams Tank. Estimated issue date is 20 OCT 2003. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardc opies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued ele ctronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option each year, for a period of four years. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY04 requirement.
