- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a competitive requirement for a contractor to provide TRAINAIR and TRAIN-THE-TRAINER Course Instruction and Course Development. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611710. The contract, for a one-year base contract period and three additional 1-year option periods, to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government, are included. International Aviation Safety Standards, 474 Plymouth Street, Cambria, CA is currently performing the same service for DOT/TSI. The requirement was initially announced on September 9, 2003 with an expiration date of September 15, 2003. Proposals that were previously submitted have not been opened and will be destroyed or returned unopened upon written notice via e-mail from each previous offeror. New proposals must be submitted if you wish to be considered for contract award. All interested sources should first attempt to download the solicitation from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for the solicitation MUST BE IN WRITING (FAX number 405-954-3030) or via e-mail to carolyn.s.engelke@faa.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Older versions of Netscape Navigator will not open the attachments. ???This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
